Amy came to us looking for some window graphics for her new pastelillos shop opening in Fishtown. Her business already had a logo and branded colors, but hadn't gone on to extend the full brand. Amy wanted something fun, bright, and eye-catching (though the store itself was already a standout with a fabulous pink exterior).
We created custom illustrated pastelillos arranged in a confetti-like pattern on one window, with cheese and sparkles throughout. The second window got an oversized pastelillo, again with sparkles - this gave a sense of continuity without getting too busy. Lastly, the front door got the logo and hours pasted on, with the sidelight getting another custom illustrated pattern. This pattern was inspired by Puerto Rican tile and paper cut artwork, replacing some of the traditional shapes with food-related imagery - pastelillos, forks, knives, peppers, greenery, and so on.
In addition to the window graphics, we proposed a few pieces of branded collateral, like takeout boxes and stickers.
